With Jimmy Uso still unable to compete in the ring and Jey Uso getting another shot at Roman Reigns and the Universal Title at WWE's upcoming Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in a continuation of a slight singles push for the star, many will be wondering what WWE's plan is for the Usos.

Luckily the pair managed to stay together during the WWE Draft, even though other tag-teams like The New Day, Heavy Machinery and Andrade and Angel Garza didn't fare so well there. So, you'd probably be justified in thinking that WWE plans to keep the two together going forward?

Well, there is some speculation that Jimmy Uso might be separated from Jey Uso because of the fact that WWE when it can, attempts to keep real-life couples together on the same brand. As such, Jimmy Uso leaving SmackDown is a distinct possibility given that Naomi was drafted to RAW.

However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that this might not be as big a factor in WWE's decision making as it once was, as well as revealing what the current plan for the Usos seems to be at the moment,

Naomi is married to Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso is on Smackdown. Basically they either have to break up the team or split up the relationship. Jimmy Uso was not talked about due to being out of action several more months after reconstructive knee surgery. He should be returning between November and January so it’s not that long. We are told the plan is not to split up the team. Having couples on different brands isn’t as big a deal was it once was, since talent only works one day a week, but at some point that could change even if they never go back to a four-show a week schedule for most talent like as in the past.

Given that WWE is extremely low on men's tag-teams at the moment, having broken them all up, and they still have two tag-team title belts for the men's division I hope that they do keep The Usos together, as someone needs to be in the division.
