The Rock is apparently a fan of AEW. Commenting on Arn Anderson's appearance at All Out, is seems Dwayne Johnson was watching along with many fans.

After Bleacher Report tweeted a video of Arn Anderson showing up at AEW's All Out to help Cody Rhodes, the new upstart wrestling company got one of the best boosts in terms of promotion they could possibly ask for.

The Rock, Dwayne Johnson helped promote his appearance by commenting on the video and saying, "So much fun for the crowd!! Double A!! Spine on the pine. No one better!! And great call @JRsBBQ".

Clearly, the Rock is a fan of the new company, even though to most, he's seen as a WWE guy. This is great news for the industry in general as better wrestling from more than one promotion is key to the success and increase in interest overall. When The Rock tweets something, you can also bet that people will pay attention.

For AEW, they have to be happy with the way things went on Saturday as it pertains to All Out. Some strong matches, appearances from legends like Anderson went over well and the card was well received by many fans. As they head into their new show on TNT in October, they have a ton of momentum.

Anderson himself said, "The fact is, this product, these kids, these men, these women are giving you their heart, soul, blood, guts, anything it takes to win you over." It's no wonder he wanted to be a part of the company after being let go by WWE.

What This Means

Like many of us, Johnson seems to be a fan of the AEW product and understands what it means for wrestling if there are two successful companies. The debate that will move forward is, which company is better?

Does the Rock agree with Double-A that AEW is the "gold standard that their setting now is soon going to be the platinum standard?" Only time will tell.
