Will Ospreay and Seth Rollins have been going back and forth on Twitter, and now Tommy Dreamer has weighed in.

It truly feels as if we are on the cusp of one of the best eras in wrestling we have ever seen. For two decades, WWE has had the luxury of not really being challenged by a rival promotion. If AEW turns out to be everything it has promised to be, we will have a significant number two in the industry. On top of that, NJPW is becoming more popular outside of Japan than ever before.

Wrestlers from rival promotions are already beginning to clash on social media. The most notable of those clashes so far has come in the form of Will Ospreay and Seth Rollins. The two have been going back and forth on Twitter ever since last weekend and others have been chiming in. The latest person to have their say? Tommy Dreamer.

Rollins and Ospreay have been compared in every way from bank account size to in-ring ability. Since The Architect brought it up, the number of matches they competed in last year has also been used as a metric. Dave Meltzer highlighted that Rollins competed in 164 matches in 2018, while IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada wrestled 142.

Those numbers are what prompted Dreamer to get involved. The ECW legend revealed that he wrestled more matches than both Rollins and Okada in 2018. An impressive 206, to be exact. "Does that mean I win the twitter debates or should we wait for Will Ospreay match total," Dreamer joked. Seriously though, to wrestle more than 200 matches in a year at 48 after how long he has been in the business. Dreamer is an inspiration.

As for who is really the best in the business right now, there's only one way to find out. A one on one match. Sadly, when it comes to Ospreay and Rollins, that won't be happening any time soon. Considering how loyal each wrestler is to their respective brand, it feels as if that match might never happen. Wrestling always throws up surprises, though. Fingers crossed that dream match happens one day. We don't mind where.
