At seven of the last eight WrestleManias, Triple H has been in the longest match of the night. His battle with Roman Reigns is the only exception.

This year's WrestleMania was one of the biggest WWE events on paper of all time. The debut of Ronda Rousey, the return of Daniel Bryan, the tease of what was going to happen between John Cena and The Undertaker. For the most part, it's probably fair to say that the show delivered too and that Rousey's match was surprisingly one of the best of the night.

Many fans were understandably skeptical about Rousey's potential in-ring ability as Sunday night marked her very first match for WWE. Suffice to say most were taken aback at how quickly she has adapted to the business as her and the rest of the Superstars in the match put on a terrific performance. Along with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Kurt Angle Rousey had a debut that will be remembered for years to come.

We really should have expected it somewhat when you look at the WrestleMania pedigree of Triple H. The tag match on Sunday night marked The Game's 23rd appearance at WrestleMania, a number that is only bettered by The Undertaker. That's not the only impressive WrestleMania stat about The King Of Kings either as pointed out this week by Meta on Twitter.

According to Meta, The Game has been involved in the longest match of the night at seven of the last eight WrestleManias. That includes his back-to-back matches against The Undertaker, his opener at WrestleMania XXX with Daniel Bryan, and the tag team match last weekend. In fact, the only time in the past eight years that Triple H hasn't been in the longest match of the night at WrestleMania was in 2015, that year the honor belonged to Undertaker and Shane McMahon inside Hell In A Cell.

Many fans criticize Triple H for some of the matches he has competed in at WrestleMania and the placement they get on the card. The Game obviously has a lot of sway backstage and has been accused of using that to book himself in prominent spots on The Grandest Stage Of Them All. When you break down those matches though you'll realize that he rarely wins at WrestleMania. His loss on Sunday marks his thirteenth on the show of shows, more than any other Superstar in WWE history.
