Chyna was widely responsible for revolutionizing the women's division in WWE during her run in the late' 90s and early 2000s.

The former Women's and Intercontinental Champion was part of the iconic D-Generation X stable - a group that is about to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, she died three years ago at the age of 46 and won't see her induction into the Hall.

Chyna reportedly had a bitter exit from the WWE in 2001. She had been in a relationship with Triple H for five years, but the latter eventually wound up seeing Stephanie McMahon - and the couple have been married for 16 year now.

Well, WWE finally moved on from the past and decided it was time to enshrine Chyna in wrestling immortality forever. Triple H talked to CBS Sports and offered major praise for Chyna, and how her impact on the wrestling world helped her land an induction into the Hall of Fame.

"It's awesome. I'm thrilled for her as the human being that I knew, for her family and for her sister, who I knewThere is probably not a woman who has ever made as big of an impact as she did.

Somebody that transcended the business on her own and I'm sure will be in the Hall of Fame sometime on her own. I think it's fitting she is in there with DX in the beginning because it's how she started, and I think it's what it should be."

After her departure from the company, WWE distanced themselves from Chyna and refused to ever acknowledge her. Some believe that the love triangle involving her, Triple H and Stephanie could have forced the company into deciding not to bring up her name at all.

When Chyna passed away three years ago, Stephanie promised that the former would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame someday. It may be long overdue to some, but it's better late than never.

Chyna played an instrumental role in helping the WWE transition into the Attitude Era over two decades ago. The introduction of DX gave WWE much-needed momentum during the Monday Night Wars with WCW.

Not only that, but Chyna helped build up the women's division and helped pave the way for other future Hall of Famers like Trish Stratus and Lita. With that, it was only a matter of time until Chyna got inducted.

What This Means

It's a classy move by Triple H to praise Chyna and give more insight about her illustrious wrestling career. We may never get the full details about her departure from the company - and why WWE decided to not acknowledge her anymore. But at the end of the day, they're letting bygones be bygones - and she'll finally get inducted into the Hall of Fame after such a long wait.
