Triple H had a lot to say about NWA's upcoming all-women's show, including whether NXT stars will be allowed to be a part of it.

Despite some of them having non-compete clauses, a number of the wrestlers released by WWE during the last couple of months are already working on their futures. Mickie James, for example, is working with the NWA on the promotion's first-ever all-women's show. James has already made it clear she won't be wrestling on the show herself.

Triple H And The NWA

Triple H held a media call this week during which he fielded questions from a number of outlets. Gary Cassidy of Inside The Ropes asked The Game about the NWA's all-women's show and turns out he had a lot to say. On the show itself, WWE's previous and current efforts in regard to women's wrestling, and if NXT stars will be allowed to appear on the NWA's PPV.

"If you want to wrestle the best women in the world, come to WWE. That's where they are," Triple H said, presumably in response to whether NXT stars will be allowed to compete in the NWA for one night only. Triple H's response to whether WWE or NXT will ever do another all-women's show was that they have already done them, but didn't rule out doing more in the future.

"Haven't We Already Done Them?"

The women's shows Triple H is referencing here are Evolution and the Mae Young Classic. However, it has been almost three years since we saw either of those events. It felt as if Evolution would become an annual occurrence after that. Stephanie McMahon even said at the time there would be more all-female shows in the future. It's possible the pandemic has derailed those plans for the time being.

WWE's women's division also isn't as strong as it was in 2018. Ronda Rousey is out of the picture indefinitely, and Becky Lynch is yet to return after having a baby. Not to mention the aforementioned releases leaving the women's roster looking rather thin right now. Some serious building and some big-name returns will need to happen before Evolution 2. NXT, on the other hand, could well be in the perfect position to host its own all-women's show.
