Triple H took to social media to comment on what's next for Adam Cole after losing on night two of Great American Bash to Keith Lee, but more than that, fans are wondering about Cole's future and where it will be, if in NXT at all.

Triple H commented right after Cole lost the NXT Championship to Keith Lee in a Winner Takes All Match, and said, "There is a saying “it’s the talent that makes the title.” During his 403 day reign over the black and gold brand Adam Cole MADE the NXT championship, THE championship." He added, "That reign might be over but he’s just getting started. Adam Cole is NXT."

This is good news for Cole fans who were wondering what might be next for the former champion. After all, he was recently in the news as it pertained to his current contract with WWE and whispers he might be thinking about joining his other half, Britt Baker in AEW.

Reports of Cole's contract being up have been heavily disputed but the question still remains, does Cole stay in NXT? Is he going to work with someone like Randy Orton for SummerSlam? Or, is the entire Undisputed Era faction getting a call-up to either Raw or SmackDown?

Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue reported that Adam Cole and his group are under consideration for a move but there is some concern in WWE about moving them too soon. Colohue writes, "A number of people were moved from NXT on to RAW and SmackDown after this year's WrestleMania and of those names Bianca Belair, Shayna Baszler, The Forgotten Sons and others have barely featured."

Clearly, this is not something WWE wants for Cole and UE as it could greatly damage the reputation they've built as the faces of the NXT brand.

Could The Undisputed Era Break Up?

Colohue is also exclusively reporting that there is an offer on the table to bring Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era up to RAW or SmackDown around SummerSlam time. That said, "not every member of the group is eager to have that happen due to an urge to stay in NXT." Some are concerned about their health and safety, while others are concerned about being lost in the shuffle.

If a move does happen and not every goes, Colohue adds that it is also possible that one or more members would be "left behind" and that there would be little to no plans to use them going forwards.

With so many changes due to COVID-19 and roster moves affected because of it, Colohue believes that the Undisputed Era is likely to remain in NXT for now, but SummerSlam will be a date to watch.
