Kansas City Chiefs' wide receiver Tyreek Hill  and agent Drew Rosenhaus will seek action against the fan that sprayed beer on him during Sunday's road game against the New England Patriots.

ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the news.

Hill scored on a 75-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. After sprinting to the back of the end zone, a handful of Patriots fan flipped off Hill, and one spectator sprayed their beer on the star wideout.

The Patriots announced in a statement that Gillette stadium security identified the fan and banned him from future events. The statement also read that the incident "has been turned over to local law enforcement."

Per Boston.com, Hill said head coach Andy Reid told him not to get "mad" or "emotional," and that he wasn't "mad at all." But after talking to his agent, Hill has decided that seeking legal action is the right move, and it's hard to really blame him.

At the end of the day, sports are sports. It's not right for fans of any kind to poor beer or treat opposing players like that. The Patriots are sending a firm message that any fan who does that won't be allowed back in. The organization deserves tremendous credit for putting their foot down. Hopefully, this will prevent any future incidents from happening at NFL games.

The 24-year-old Hill finished Sunday's game with seven catches for 142 yards and three touchdowns, completely torching one of the NFL's best secondaries. He's up to 34 catches for 567 yards and six touchdowns in 2018.

Despite the loss, the Chiefs sit at 5-1 and hold the top seed in the AFC. There's never any shame in losing on the road to the Patriots, and this team was oh-so-close to escaping with a second straight victory at Gillette Stadium.
