The Undertaker was in attendance with some other familiar faces earlier this week at Ric Flair's wedding to his long-time girlfriend.
The divide between a wrestler's in-ring persona and what they are like in everyday life is one that has become increasingly blurred. The evolution of the internet and popularization of social media has made it almost impossible for WWE Superstars to keep their private lives private so the majority of them just embrace it, admitting that on Raw and SmackDown Live they are merely playing a character.
One man who still seems to be able to basically disappear when he doesn't have anything to do on WWE television is The Undertaker. The Deadman has obviously been around for almost 30 years so likely has his disappearing act down to a fine art. However, when The Phenom does pop up in everyday life out of his Undertaker get-up then it naturally gets quite a lot of attention.
That happened this week when Taker attended Ric Flair's wedding. His wife Michelle McCool posted a photo of herself, her husband, Finlay, and Charlotte Flair on her Instagram story. You can check out the snap below. It was the wedding of The Nature Boy, as mentioned above, to his long-time girlfriend Wendy Barlow, also known as Fifi the maid from WCW.
Naitch's marriage to Wendy marks the fifth time in his life that he has tied the knot. The two have been together for a while and the 16 time World Champion likely didn't envision ever getting married again. However, after what he went through last summer and how Wendy cared for him during a very difficult time, he likely had a change of heart.
As for The Undertaker, the WWE Universe does not have long to wait to see him in a more familiar setting. The Deadman will be on Raw this coming Monday in order to further build to his "last time ever" match versus Triple H at Super Show-Down. Judging by the last time he was on Raw a week and a half ago, there could likely be fireworks, and we hope that Shawn Michaels is once again in attendance.
