Despite The Usos being one of the most talented tag teams in the world, they are constantly relegated to WWE's kickoff shows. What's up with that?

WWE has been touting that Raw achieved a clean sweep over SmackDown Live at Survivor Series. As Xavier Woods has been continually pointing out on Twitter, that's not entirely true. Team Blue did achieve one win on Sunday night. However, it was on the kickoff show so clearly, Vince McMahon believes that doesn't count for much.

Nevertheless, SmackDown Live did win a match, and it was The Usos who were the last team standing. Jimmy and Jey saw off The Revival to ensure that the blue brand had at least one division it could be proud of. Weirdly, The Usos were nowhere to be seen on this week's SmackDown Live. New Day was the team that voiced its displeasure at Team Blue's kickoff show win being quickly forgotten.

An odd choice, especially since New Day was in the match but didn't make it to the end as The Usos did. The winning twins got nothing more than a throwaway mention during New Day's promo. So why is that? Well, an unnamed source backstage at WWE hinted to Brad Shepard of the Oh, You Didn't Know Wrestling Show that the multi-time Tag Team Champions may have heat in the locker room.

"The source has agreed with me when I questioned, ‘Who the hell have the Usos pissed off?’ Because they still manage to be on the kickoff show so much," Shepard said on the podcast. The kickoff show comment is not one that should be shrugged off. Survivor Series isn't the first time Jimmy and Jey have been relegated to that position. It has happened time and time again despite them consistently putting on terrific matches.

If The Usos do indeed have heat with the wrong people in WWE, it likely means that they are in for more of the same. A continuation of great performances, but when it comes to PPVs, we won't be seeing them on anything more than the kickoff show. In all fairness, aside from the Cruiserweight Title match, there was nothing else at Survivor Series that could have replaced The Usos' match on the kickoff show. As we said though, last Sunday was not an isolated incident.
