Kevin Durant's future at Golden State is under serious speculation following the shocking episode that saw him get into a heated argument with teammate Draymond Green last Monday night.

The nine-time All-Star, who can become an unrestricted free agent by declining his player option over a one-year extension next year, should be the top name on the market in 2019. And, per Friday's betting odds, Los Angeles seems to be the most likely destination.

It's no secret that the Lakers will be in the race for the superstar next season, having already brought LeBron James in. But teaming him up with a player like Durant is too frightening to even imagine.

According to ESPN writer Arash Markazi, BetDSI ranks Los Angeles as the top landing spot for last season's NBA Finals MVP.

The Lakers are at 3-2 (+150) to sign the player, and the Warriors are next with 3-1 (+300) odds of re-signing him.

Most of the other teams aren't thought to have a chance; however, the Philadelphia 76ers are 5-1 (+500) and the New York Knicks, always thought to be a favorite, are at 15-2 (+750).

Meanwhile, Green - who was suspended one game for his actions on Monday - has revealed that he has spoken to Durant and the pair are moving forward. "Kevin and I spoke. We're moving forward," he told reporters on Thursday. "I think there's no secret that I am an emotional player. I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I play with that same emotion. Sometimes it gets the best of me and it doesn't work to my favor. "I am going to live with that. Because it works in my favor to the good, as my résumé speaks, and this team's résumé speaks, more so than it doesn't. So I am never going to change who I am. I am going to approach the game the same way that I always do. And like I said, we will continue to move forward." What This Means

The Warriors have plenty of time to convince Durant to stay but if the Lakers manage to snag him, they will automatically become the favorites for the title next season.

Philadelphia, on the other hand, would have to allow Jimmy Butler to leave in free agency to open up the possibility of signing the current Dubs superstar, but it would definitely be worth it.

The Knicks can't offer the star much in terms of talent. However, the prospect of playing with Kristaps Porzingis is still very positive and could be something that Durant chooses to explore.
