A WWE artist has labeled Velveteen Dream the most unprofessional person they have ever worked with following the star's release.

NXT has been releasing some of its Superstars and employees this week. It started with referees, including Drake Wuertz who has been causing headaches for the company for a while now. A number of wrestlers soon followed including Jessamyn Duke and Vanessa Borne. Alexander Wolfe will also be let go, but not until his current contract runs out on June 15, 2021.

The headline from the latest batch of NXT releases was saved until Thursday, although WWE tried to keep it as quiet as possible. The departure of Velveteen Dream. Following a troubled 12 months or more for Dream, WWE has finally decided to cut ties with a star who was once considered to have a very bright future with the company. It's unclear what exactly the final straw was for Dream in WWE.

During that 12-month period, accusations previously made against Dream resurfaced. The former North American Champion was also sidelined after being in a car accident. As for what the opinion of Dream is backstage, not high by the sounds of things. WWE artist Rob Schamberger has labeled the now-former WWE Superstar the most unprofessional person he has ever met in the business.

Schamberger has been working with WWE for years and has worked with a lot of people during that time, so his opinion is pretty damning. Odds are he was the one who created the inventive ring gear Dream wore during some of his more notable TakeOver matches. He may have even been the one who airbrushed "call me up Vince" onto a pair of Dream's tights.

"I hope this is the wake up call he needs to start doing the emotional work to become a better person," Schamberger's tweet reads. Other than the WWE artist, Nia Jax appeared to make her feelings towards Dream known via a social media post last year. The former Women's Champion reacted to reports that Dream had been subject to an internal investigation by posting a number of clown emojis.
