Ronda Rousey never held back in admitting she had some doubts and nerves heading into her WWE debut at WrestleMania 34, and it turns out a little bit of advice from the boss himself went a long way for the former UFC star.

As Rousey prepared to team up with Kurt Angle in a mixed tag match vs. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, she was given some helpful tips from Vince. Rousey revealed the special advice he gave her heading into the big match.

Though Rousey had to share a menacing and glaring look during her walks into the octagon, Vince suggested that she do the opposite while walking to the ring inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

"I usually walk out and I’m all business, but Vince specifically told me to go out and allow myself to feel everything that I was feeling and not hide anything," she told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. "And not to try and go out and be the tough girl, but to allow myself to smile, to enjoy it because, according to Vince, when I smile the whole world wants to hug me."

Great advice from Mr. McMahon himself, because Rousey has continued to flash that smile while walking to the ring, all while thousands of fans cheer and chant her name. Rousey easily lived up to expectations in her WWE debut, making Stephanie tap to win her first match inside the squared circle.

Rousey never needed much time to get over with the WWE Universe, and her career inside the ring has gotten off to a blistering start. Now, she gets the chance to taste title gold, as Rousey will face Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam in just 10 days from now.

In Rousey's case, Vince understood that there were some nerves as she tried to show her ability to transition from one sport to the other. His advice was short and simple, but it helped in every sense, and she's extremely grateful for it.
