Though it hasn't been formally announced yet, Charlotte Flair is widely expected to be added to the Becky Lynch-Ronda Rousey Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 35.

Lynch won the women's Royal Rumble and formally challenged Rousey for her championship. The Irish Lass Kicker and Flair have since continued their feud on SmackDown Live, and we can expect the latter to be added to the match any day now.

Though some fans may have been hoping for a simple one-on-one showdown between "The Man" and the former UFC star, there's a key reason why WWE is added "The Queen" to the match.

According to Felix Upton of Ringside News, WWE is adding Charlotte to the match because they prefer having two superstars "who will be with WWE after WrestleMania." It's been reported that Rousey will go on hiatus after 'Mania to start a family with her husband, Travis Browne.

Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live reported "there’s a 99% chance," in Lynch winning the main event at WrestleMania, given her status as the babyface here. It would make sense, too, since Rousey will definitely have to drop the championship if she is indeed taking a leave from WWE.

Plus, Rousey has yet to lose cleanly through her first year in WWE. It makes more sense for Lynch to pin Charlotte/make her tap out, rather than have Rousey lose for the first time here.

With Rousey set to leave for a long period, Lynch and Charlotte will be able to continue their feud on the Raw brand, which few will complain about. Their rivalry is by far the best in all of WWE right now, and there's simply no reason for it to end. Surely, this triple threat match will be a sight to behold, even if we already know who's (likely) to win.

What This Means

Charlotte has been absolutely instrumental in helping build the women's division in WWE, along with Rousey and Lynch. It only seems fair to add The Queen to the first women's main event match at WrestleMania 35. Seeing these three elite talents will go down in history as one of the most iconic matches of all time.
