NXT star Bianca Belair arrived on Monday Night Raw immediately after WrestleMania, had a couple big weeks then disappeared. For someone the company and insiders seem to think has a really bright future, what's happening backstage that Belair isn't being used?

The plan seemed to be for Belair to feud with Zelina Vega, but it for some reason, the plan was dropped. Then, Belair was trying to help the Street Profits be a more serious team since they were going to have to defend their titles against the Viking Raiders. While the Raiders and Street Profits kept battling, Belair was removed from the equation.

Why?

Belair did show up on WWE Main Event in May but she has not been a part of Raw storylines for some time. Fans on social media started to wonder if there was heat on her for some reason or if the company, specifically Paul Heyman had given up on her push. Dave Meltzer has noted that Belair’s absence from WWE is nothing more than a creative decision.

WWE has decided that she doesn't fit with the current Street Profits and Viking Raiders angle of the two teams doing battles in goofy competitions and speculation is, as long as these skits continue, she won't be involved.

Meltzer noted:

“She was introduced. Then somebody decided on wacky skits she didn’t fit in. So they didn’t put her on TV because she wasn’t in any program. Now it’s a new cycle and we’ll see.”

Will Bruce Prichard Have a Different Idea?

Now that there is no female working on any of the Street Profits and Viking Raiders stuff, it's unlikely Belair will be thrown in. That said, Bruce Prichard may have other ideas.

Belair was perhaps the most gifted athlete in the NXT Women's Division and one would hope WWE has more in mind for her than just a goofy sidekick to some entertaining but potentially long-term damaging skits.
