Bayley and Sasha Banks have been working together as a heel duo for 11 months now, but all good things have to come to an end eventually.

Ever since they joined the main roster, the two superstars have been tag teampartners and best friends on-screen. Fans have waited and waited for the inevitable breakup, but it still hasn't happened.

There's no sign of a potential breakup in the near future, either. Bayley and Banks are the SmackDown and Raw Women's Champions, respectively, and they both also hold the Women's Tag Team titles.

So why hasn't WWE split up this power duo, and will they get to it down the road?

On the Dropkick DiSKussions podcast, Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue reported that WWE is "determined to do" a Banks vs. Bayley feud. However, Colohue said that they always "seem to get cold feet" when the chance arrives.

Colohue explained that a clean loss for Banks to Asuka at Extreme Rules could have set up a program with Bayley at SummerSlam, but WWE once again passed on the opportunity to split them.

It's unclear if WWE will eventually go through with it. Colohue also said that WWE seems to be making things "up as they go along right now and they haven't had a handle of what to do next."

Bayley and Banks feuded for a brief period in 2018; this included a backstage brawl on the March 26 edition of Monday Night Raw. But the two were sent to counseling with Dr. Shelby, who managed to help them make amends.

As Colohue explained, there have been more than enough chances for WWE to go through with the Banks-Bayley breakup. But at this point, it's anybody's guess when it will happen.

There's No Rush On The Breakup

Bayley and Banks are working very well together as double champions and as a heel tandem. So WWE shouldn't feel the rush to break these two up. It's not as though they're growing boring an predictable as a duo or anything. Bayley and Banks have kept things exciting and interesting as a pair, so WWE won't split them up just for the sake of it.
