For those of you suffering a World Cup hangover, we have a video below that may very well help you get through this pre-season.

The World Cup is officially done and dusted for another four years. The tournament that came to a close in Russia on Sunday will live long in the memory for a number of reasons. Croatia made it to the final for the first time in its history, big soccer nations crashed out in the opening rounds, and Kylian Mbappe officially announced his arrival on a global stage at the age of just nineteen.

There were also a number of special moments at this World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo's epic free kick to earn Portugal a point against Spain, Pavard's incredible strike versus Argentina, and Croatia leaving it so, so late to defeat England and make it into the final. Surprisingly though, the moments were not always about the goals and the drama.

There were also a litany of downright hilarious moments at this World Cup, some of which you might have missed. If you didn't catch them all or simply want to relive some of the tournament's funnier moments, then we have you covered via the video below. From Maradona losing his mind in the stands during an Argentina game to Ronaldo swerving a referee with a handshake, we've got them all.

The two funniest moments of the tournament are also included in the compilation. Coming in at number one has to be Michy Batshuayi's goal celebration gone wrong versus England. The Belgian kicked the ball into the post only to have it bounce back and hit him in the face. In a close second is Milad Mohammadi's failed attempt at a "roly poly" throw in. Either do it or don't Milad, time was running out.

Sadly that is all she wrote for the 2018 World Cup. We've laughed, we've cried, we have been wowed by some of the best soccer players on the planet, and it will be a tournament that lives long in the memory. The worst thing about it ending though is that there is still more than four years until the next one. The Qatar World Cup in 2022 won't be taking place until November of that year, so we have a long wait ahead of us.
