WrestleMania XXIV is currently unavailable on the Network and WWE has neglected to explain why that is.

Vince McMahon has changed the wrestling business in major ways numerous times over the course of the past three and a half decades. One of his more recent innovations was the creation of the WWE Network. The bold move to step away from the lucrative PPV business and offer all of WWE's shows to fans for just $9.99, the price of a Network subscription.

Even though getting every WWE PPV live is worth the price of admission alone, that's only the tip of the iceberg. The real appeal of the Network is the library of content subscribers have access to. Pretty much everything WWE has ever done, as well as libraries from other companies such as WCW, ECW, and the AWA. WWE continues to add more content from the past as it acquires it.

Every now and again, fans will discover that something is missing. Most of the time that just means WWE either doesn't have the rights to it yet or hasn't added it to the Network. However, this weekend Heel By Nature noticed something that was previously on the Network has been removed. WrestleMania XXIV. Not good for fans planning on watching every WrestleMania during the build to this year's show of shows.

It's also not good news for fans who want to relive The Undertaker and Edge's match for the World Title, or the iconic moment Shawn Michaels retired Ric Flair. The only possible reason we can think of for WrestleMania XXIV's removal from the Network relates to Floyd Mayweather. It's also the show on which the boxer wrestled his one and only match. A bout against Big Show.

Mayweather used 50 Cent's I Get Money as his entrance theme at the event. One of the producers of the song sued WWE and Mayweather in 2010 for its use but was unable to prove that either party had directly made money from doing so. It's possible that the case has reared its head once again, or that someone else attached to the track has taken legal action. If that is the reason, chances are the show will reappear soon, but Mayweather's music will have been changed.
