American musician and singer Kid Rock was inducted into the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame on Friday as part of the celebrity wing, but some fans may have noticed that he wasn't present at WretleMania 34 in New Orleans.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Kid Rock wasn't able to attend because he's preparing to host Kid Rock 's 9th Annual Chillin' the Most Cruise 2018, and had to depart via Cruise on Monday.

The Cruise runs from Apr. 10-14, and will make stops in Miami, Bahamas and the Norwegian Jade. The four-day luxurious cruise also features hot tubs, bars and a casino, and a pre-party will take place on Monday.

It's worth noting that Kid Rock was "never slated" to attend WrestleMania at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, per Johnson. That explains why he wasn't on stage when WWE welcomed the other 2018 Hall of Fame inductees in Goldberg, The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, Mark Henry and Warrior Award winner, Jarrius Robertson.

Kid Rock was widely involved in WWE during the Attitude Era, creating the entrance themes for Stacy Keibler and The Undertaker (his American Bad Ass theme), and performed at WrestleMania XXV in Houston, Texas.

Of course, Kid Rock wasn't the only celebrity that was missing from WrestleMania. Many fans were hoping to see Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who frequently appears on the Grandest Stage of Them All - though the People's Champion warned days before that he wouldn't be attending.

WWE also usually welcomes back a number of legends to appear in segments at WrestleMania, but there weren't any this year. However, The Undertaker and Daniel Bryan did make their long-anticipated returns to the ring, and both certainly classify as WWE legends.

Perhaps WrestleMania 35 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, will bring back a large quantity of more WWE legends and other Hollywood celebrities.
