It's WrestleMania weekend everybody! A weekend packed with more wrestling than any other on the calendar, be it WWE affiliated or otherwise. The main event of the weekend, however, is of course, WrestleMania. This year's Showcase of the Immortals takes place this Sunday, April 7, 2019, and begins at 7 pm EST, or 5 pm EST if you want to catch the kickoff show. All of the action will stream live on the WWE Network. The card features a bumper 16 matches and we have got brief breakdowns of every last one of them. So take a deep breath, and here we go.

Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch for the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships

via wwe.com

It has been a long and winding road but the first-ever women's WrestleMania main event is finally upon us. A match that has been dubbed "Winner Take All" by WWE. A year ago we thought it would be Charlotte Flair versus Ronda Rousey. Fast forward nine months and fans wanted it to be Rousey versus Becky Lynch. Like it or not, it's fitting that it has wound up being all three of them.

Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship

via wwe.com

Five years ago, Daniel Bryan was the focus of one of the greatest WrestleMania moments of all time. This Sunday, he could well have a front row seat to Kofi Kingston having a similar moment. This spot was never intended for the New Day member. However, here he is and he has the support of almost the entire WWE Universe behind him.

Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship

via wwe.com

Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar have met one-on-one once before. However, on that occasion, Rollins was a heel and the match was a stepping stone for the next Lesnar versus Undertaker match. Although we have been waiting for this rematch for almost four years, we have a bad feeling about it. Babyfaces are unlikely to win all three of these top matches, and we feel as if Rollins is the most likely of the three to have to take the fall.

Triple H vs Batista in a No Holds Barred Match

via wwe.com

We are still amazed that this match is even happening. Five months ago Triple H tore his pec, yet here we are and The Game is once again on the WrestleMania card. Clearly, he couldn't resist one more go-around with Batista. So much so that The Cerebral Assassin has put his career on the line in this one.

Shane McMahon vs The Miz in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

via wwe.com

Shane McMahon always manages to find his way onto the WrestleMania card. This year he has done that via an extremely personal and intense rivalry with The Miz. We'd also venture a guess that he has promised his dad that he'll perform some sort of crazy stunt, as has become customary in Shane O Mac matches over the years.

Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre

via wwe.com

Even more amazing than Triple H's quick recovery is the fact that Roman Reigns is competing at this WrestleMania. The Big Dog made short work of kicking his leukemia into remission and will take on Drew McIntyre this Sunday. He might not break Hulk Hogan's record of most WrestleMania main events in a row, but this one will still mean a hell of a lot to Reigns after the year he has had.

Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships

Sasha Banks doesn't have that great a record when it comes to defending championships. However, the tide seems to be changing in that regard. Bayley and The Boss already have one successful title defense under their belts as Women's Tag Team Champions. However, at WrestleMania, they will have three other teams vying for those titles, and won't even need to be pinned to lose them.

AJ Styles vs Randy Orton

via wwe.com

This one might well be the sleeper match of the weekend. Two extremely talented performers with almost 40 years of experience between them. Plus, the build has been perfect. Randy Orton is a product of the WWE system while AJ Styles has wrestled around the world and didn't arrive in WWE until a few years ago. Both have played on that which has led to their interactions being unmissable.

Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship

via wwe.com

We were fully expecting this match to have had other Superstars added to it by WrestleMania. However, we are pleasantly surprised to see that hasn't been the case. That being said, Rey Mysterio is currently working through an injury and there is a rumor that he may not be fit to compete on Sunday night. If that's the case, John Cena versus Samoa Joe, anyone?

Bobby Lashley vs Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship

via wwe.com

Should Finn Balor bust out The Demon for a Universal Title match with Lesnar? No. How about an Intercontinental Title match against Bobby Lashley? Yes, apparently. We know, we shouldn't expect too much logic from WWE. We should just be grateful that Demon Finn will return this Sunday, and we are. That entrance at WrestleMania will be something to behold.

Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin

via wwe.com

WrestleMania will truly mark the end of an era. The last time Kurt Angle ever wrestles, and he's going out by facing Baron Corbin. The fans have not reacted kindly to this one thus far. Many believe Angle deserves a more fitting opponent than Corbin in his final match, and a part of us believes that will still happen. However, a bigger part of us believes that Vince McMahon is just a huge Corbin fan.

Fatal 4-Way Match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

via wwe.com

We didn't think the first time we'd see Aleister Black and Shinsuke Nakamura clash at WrestleMania would be as a part of a multi-man tag match. Sadly, that is the case. Don't be too disheartened though as if you run your eyes over the talent in this one, it's sure to be a chaotic and entertaining match. It's just a shame that some of the individuals aren't being given more of a spotlight.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

via wwe.com

We know that Braun Strowman and those two guys from SNL are in this match, but we have no idea who else will be joining them. We're assuming it'll be basically any other male Superstars who don't already have a match so as usual, that ring is going to be pretty crowded. Surely no one is looking past The Monster Among Men to win this one?

WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal

via wwe.com

As excited as we are for female Superstars to headline WrestleMania for the first time ever, there is one con. WWE has sacrificed Asuka in the process. Due to the fact that the rest of the top female talent is tied up in the main event, The Empress has her title taken by Flair and has been relegated to the women's battle royal. If Asuka doesn't win this one, we riot.

Buddy Murphy vs Tony Nese for the Cruiserweight Championship

via wwe.com

At Super Show-Down in 2018, Buddy Murphy became Cruiserweight Champion in front of thousands of fans in his hometown. At WrestleMania, Tony Nese has the opportunity to do that himself. The Premier Athlete will take on Murphy in his own hometown against a man who he could call a friend up until very recently. However, there is only room for one top guy in 205 Live.

The Revivial vs Curt Hawkins vs Zack Ryder for the Raw Tag Team Championships

This match has received zero build-up on television. That's why as much as we can't wait for Curt Hawkins' epic losing streak to come to a triumphant end, we do not want it to be here. After having Hawkins lose well over two matches in a row, it would be a shame to see that thrown away on a match that is nothing more than an afterthought, even if it is on the grandest stage of them all.
