2019's PWI 500 has been released and for the second time in his career, Seth Rollins has been deemed the best male wrestler on the planet.

Picking your favorite wrestler is a very subjective thing and something fans will have heated discussions about from now until the end of time. However, that doesn't stop some of us from ranking them and telling the world who's the best whether they like it or not. The most detailed and in-depth list of all is Pro Wrestling Illustrated's 500.

The PWI 500 is released every year and has been ever since 1991. Stars such as Hulk Hogan, Sting, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, and Roman Reigns can all boast clinching the top spot on at least one occasion, among others. This week, the 2019 edition dropped and the top slot has gone to Seth Rollins. It's the second time The Architect has been dubbed the best wrestler on the planet.

Rollins also placed number one back in 2015, the year he won the WWE Championship for the first time after cashing in at WrestleMania 31. AJ Styles is at number three, which means he can boast the impressive accolade of having been in the top ten for six straight years. The Phenomenal One has also been the number one wrestler in PWI's 500, but not since 2010.

What's surprising is one of the names who never topped the PWI 500. The Rock. Despite being the biggest star the business has ever produced, topping this particular chart is one thing Rock has never done. The People's Champ might be comforted by the fact not every wrestler cares about the list, as was proved by Pete Dunne this week. Clearly, The Bruiserweight is not a fan of the PWI 500.

Dunne tweeted "imagine sitting there and writing a list of 500 wrestlers based off a completely random criteria and then imagine people actually caring." Do you agree, or think the former UK Champion is simply feeling a little salty since he placed a full 53 places below The Architect? Either way, congratulations to Seth Rollins. We wouldn't be surprised if he tops the chart again this time next year too, although, for the first time ever, that will largely depend on what the wrestlers of AEW have planned.
