The Undertaker has revealed that Andre the Giant had plans for a big feud between them, and other wrestlers have been chipping in with their opinions on what could have been.

The Undertaker doesn't often break character in order to give interviews, so when he does much of what he says is going to have fans hooked on his every word. That's why wrestling fans have been positively fascinated by an interview he recently conducted with Ed Young. The Deadman revealed all sorts of inside stories from his three decades and counting in the wrestling business.

One of the most intriguing anecdotes The Phenom told involved Andre the Giant. By the time Taker arrived in WWE, Andre's health had already deteriorated considerably. Despite that, the Eighth Wonder of the World would apparently tell him that he had big plans for a feud between the two of them. Sadly, not only did it never happen, but Andre passed away before he ever even told anybody about it.

Fans have been booking The Undertaker in dream matches for his entire career, but a rivalry with Andre isn't one that is often talked about. Even fellow wrestlers have taken to Twitter to talk about what could have been. Hulk Hogan, perhaps Andre's greatest rival, tweeted "knowing Andre the way I do it would have been a master plan to only skyrocket Takers career."

The Hulkster ended the tweet by posing the question "would it have been at Wrestlemania?" It certainly would have been better than The Deadman's WrestleMania IX showdown versus Giant Gonzalez. Former WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam also chipped in by replying to Hogan's tweet. RVD jokingly wrote "I think someone would’ve run in and pedigree’d them both."

During an RVD-themed episode of Something To Wrestle, co-host Conrad Thompson pointed out how often Triple H would pedigree the former ECW Champion and get one over on him. Van Dam saw the funny side of it and has revived the joke once again. Thankfully, Taker and Andre's time together in WWE predated The Game's arrival. Suffice to say, whatever the Hall Of Famer's grand plan was, it would have been pretty awesome.
