WWE 2K has announced what will be available as part of WWE 2K19's DLC and a lot of exciting Superstars have been added to the mix.

The arrival of WWE 2K19 is almost upon us. In less than three weeks from the time of typing this, we will be able to get our hands on the game and see what's new this year, aside from what we already know, obviously. The roster seems bigger and judging by the gameplay trailer that was released last week, there will be a lot of new things we haven't previously seen from WWE 2K.

Aside from the traditional downloadable content, we already know what the entire WWE 2K19 roster is going to look like. Although it is pretty massive there were a couple of noticeable absences. Most shockingly, the current NXT Champion Tomasso Ciampa was nowhere to be seen, and neither is long time Full Sail Superstar Nikki Cross, despite both appearing on WWE 2K18.

Some fans might have expected Ciampa and Cross to pop up in WWE 2K's DLC announcement, but that has not been the case. Information about who and what will be available for download was released on Wednesday of this week and although it will include a lot of men and women from NXT, Ciampa and Cross are still nowhere to be seen.

On to the good news now though, who will be included. Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Lacey Evans, Lio Rush, Maria Kanellis, Mike Kanellis, and Ricochet will all be a part of the Rising Stars Pack while Bobby Lashley, EC3 and NXT's War Raiders will be made available via the Titans Pack. That's a whole 11 Superstars to add to the already stacked WWE 2K19 roster if you opt to buy the DLC when it becomes available.

Aside from the litany of Superstars that will be made available via the DLC, most of which will be making their WWE video game debuts, the rest of the announcement was as expected. An accelerator will be available for download, as will a MyPlayer kickstart, plus a new moves pack. Last but not least, as always, players will have the option to buy a season pass and just get the DLC as and when it comes if they so choose.
