As per a report by Fightful Wrestling, Popular IMPACT Wrestling tag team LAX has finished their contracts with the promotion and apparently have offers on the table from WWE and AEW.

It was reported by PWInsider that LAX has wrapped up with IMPACT Wrestling. Their final match was at the Slammiversary XVII pay-per-view where the duo failed to win the World Tag Team Championships. F4WOnline's Daily reported that IMPACT put together an injury storyline that would explain the loss and some time away. While IMPACT would like LAX, it could be that offers from WWE and AEW will see the team leave and move onto other opportunities.

This news comes at the same time as reports that Johnny Impact is also done with IMPACT Wrestling and may also move on.

There is no update as to which direction the team has decided to go and fans may not know until the team shows up on one of the three shows.

What This Means

Fans often talk about WWE stars going to AEW, but the realization is that having two bigger promotions is becoming a great opportunity for stars from IMPACT and other promotions. LAX has been a popular team, arguably one of the most popular groups outside WWE for years. They would certainly be a welcome addition to the roster should they choose to make the jump.

The question becomes, where would they rather be? Is AEW a better fit? Or, would WWE offer more to the tag team just to see what Paul Heyman or Eric Bischoff could do if given some creative freedom to work with both stars?

One thing that we do know is that Konnan would probably not be part of any LAX team coming to WWE.
