WWE announced over the weekend that Braun Strowman will face Bobby Lashley at the June 7 Super ShowDown event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The match will pit two of the most dominant, powerful and indestructible forces the WWE has ever seen. Strowman has rarely lost any clean matches since splitting from the Wyatt Family, while Lashley - a premium MMA fighter - has built a reputation for squashing a handful of opponents with relative ease.
Lashley and Strowman faced off on the Feb. 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, but the match didn't net a winner; Strowman attacked Lashley outside of the ring and walked away after leaving his mark.
On top of that, both Strowman and Lashley have clashed in a handful of tag team matches. They were on the same team at Survivor Series - leading Team Raw to a victory over Team SmackDown.
But Lashley has frequently teamed up with Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre in matches, while Strowman has teamed up with Finn Balor, Elias and even Kurt Angle (on one occasion).

Because they've mainly been pitted against each other in tag team matches, there hasn't been much of a one-on-one rivalry between Strowman and Lashley. But fans will get to see these two giants go toe to toe in the middle of the right - and hopefully there will be a clear winner this time.
Strowman vs. Lashley is the fifth confirmed match for the Super ShowDown card. Triple H vs. Randy Orton, Goldberg vs. The Undertaker, Finn Balor vs. Andrade (for the Intercontinental Championship), and a 50-man Battle Royal are the other matches that have been announced thus far. It's also been reported that Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar will square off in a Universal Championship rematch.
What This Means
Both Strowman and Lashley have dominated their opponents with relative ease, and both display tremendous super strength. These two should put on quite a match in Saudi Arabia, and perhaps it'll be the starting point of a feud for the two superstars.
