For those of you who have been following the Stanley Cup Finals, you might have noticed something with the jumbo tron during the festivities. Two familiar faces appeared on the jumbo tron and those faces are familiar with fans of the WWE. You never know where or when you will see a member of the WWE roster. You may catch them at a local gym, walking down the street, or even at a hockey game.

One half of the former WWE tag team champions, The Bar, member Cesaro posted an image on his Instagram account which includes himself and Sheamus on a jumbo tron screen at Game 2 of the Stanley Cup. They are not wearing their traditional kilts and jackets but donned in Roman soldier helmets and Vegas Golden Knights t-shirts.

WWE Superstars appearing at sporting events is not unusual. There are images of Rusev and Lana appearing ata hockey game when Rusev received his push in 2014. There is even an image of Rusev breaking kayfabe at an LA Clippers game in 2014. From the jumbo tron that appears on Cesaro's Instagram page, it seems like he and Sheamus are cutting some type of promo. They are clearly showing their support for the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team.

There is an explanation of why WWE stars are showing their support of hockey with a focus on The Vegas Golden Knights: Renee Young made an appearance on a Vegas Golden Knights broadcast with a panel of broadcasters. This is understandable as she is from Canada, and she has compared the Stanley Cup to Wrestlemania. She said the atmosphere and the crazy crowds that she encounters with the WWE are the same as the crowds at the Stanley Cup Finals.

Jonny Greco is a former WWE employee who is currently the Vice President of Entertainment and Production for the Vegas Golden Knights. This is probably why The Bar and Renee Young have been a part of the fanfare of the Stanley Cup so far. Greco says he learned a lot from WWE when he was the Senior Director of Live Events with the WWE. He said the WWE is "storytelling" with "good versus evil" concepts. The world of wrestling opens many doors.
