WWE committed a notable botch on one of their Instagram posts ahead of Sunday's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

On Wednesday, WWE posted several photos from past Hell in a Cell matches. This included pictures of the Seth Rollins-Bray Wyatt Universal Championship bout from Hell in a Cell 2019 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. This match that turned out to be one of the most heavily panned in company history.

There was just one minor problem. As noted in a post by Reddit user Metal_Gear_Fox, WWE accidentally tagged Jeff Hardy in the post instead of Wyatt. Seth Rollins was correctly tagged, however. You can see the photo of the botch below (the Hardy tag has since been removed).

This comes after a notable gaffe on last week's episode of SmackDown, when WWE made committed an obvious botch during Bayley's promo. A graphic reading "WWE Champion Brock Lesnar With Paul Heyman" showed up on the screen, though it was quickly removed. Lesnar hasn't been on WWE programming in 14 months, since WrestleMania 36.

Wyatt hasn't been seen much on WWE programming in recent months, which has led to plenty of frustration among fans. Following his loss to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37 (thanks to assistance from Alexa Bliss), Wyatt appeared in a "Firefly Fun House" segment, where he discussed a fresh start.

What's Going On With Bray Wyatt?

It's hard to understand WWE's thinking process behind keeping Wyatt, a top main event star, off of television for such a long period. Apparently, this is simply all part of WWE's plan, and there isn't a sinister reason for his absence.

In that case, we can expect Wyatt to return at some point in the not-so-distant future. With Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank (July 18) and SummerSlam (Aug. 21) right around the corner, it doesn't make sense to keep him away much longer.
