During SmackDown Live on Tuesday night, two very interesting fan signs appeared on camera and then magically disappeared when WWE confiscated them.

As is an extremely fun pastime in professional wrestling, making fan signs is a lost art. Two very creative ones showed up Tuesday night during the SmackDown Live broadcast when Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon were in the ring. One said, "You aren't MJF", the other "Save us HHH."

Not long after appearing, both vanished.

Reports then surfaced on social media that security confiscated both signs and that the fans were not allowed to express their creative opinions for the rest of the broadcast. Unfortunately for WWE, the signs had already done their damage.

For the casual WWE fan who might not know MJF, his name is Maxwell Jacob Friedman and he's an AEW talent with a gift of gab on the mic. A future star, his claim to fame is running down other wrestlers, smack-talking them before, during and after matches. He trashes fans and he's ruthless in terms of portraying his character, all the time. He's quickly becoming a hit with wrestling fans and AEW used him this past weekend to run down Bret Hart while he was trying to present the new AEW Title.

MJF took notice of the sign during the show and simply tweeted, "You aren't MJF." Hilariously, when Fightful.com reached out for comment on the sign, he threatened to sue them if they ever tried to contact him again.

Of course, the other sign, "Save us HHH" is in reference to the fact many fans are feeling like HHH should be running WWE over Vince McMahon who seemingly has dropped the ball on the presentation and the WWE Universe believes it's time for a new man to run the show.

What This Means

If you believe WWE isn't rattled by the recent success and popularity of AEW, this proves they are. Instead of worrying about removing harmless fan signs that point out a problem with the product, it might serve WWE better to try and fix the product so fans don't feel a need to bring those types of signs.

Oh, and if "Save Us HHH" isn't trending by Wednesday morning, we'd be shocked.
