Becky Lynch sought out the advice of Jerry 'The King' Lawler recently in order to better learn how to throw a punch.

When it comes to the work of Becky Lynch over the past six months, there's not much about it we haven't liked. Her in-ring work has been tremendous. So good, in fact, that she has put on some of the best matches of her career. Plus, despite how good she is in the ring, her work on the mic and social media has been even better.

However, anyone at the top of their game in any walk of life cannot simply sit back and relax. Most wrestlers who have been to the top of the mountain will likely tell you that once you're at the top, that's when the real work begins. Lynch currently has the spot that all of the other female, and most of the male, Superstars desperately want.

That's why we recently discovered The Man has been shining up one aspect of her in-ring work in particular. Her punches. During the latest of Dinner With The King, Jerry Lawler detailed a conversation he had with Lynch over Royal Rumble weekend. The Man approached King backstage and told him she had been watching clips of him for two weeks, trying to figure out how he threw such great punches.

"That's a tough question, because it's not something that I ever really thought about how I did it, I just did it," Lawler told Lynch. The former Women's Champion explained to King that Vince McMahon had asked her to try and be more physical, so she turned to him for advice. Even though Lawler struggled to explain how he did it, judging by the right hand Lynch delivered to Charlotte Flair last week, something must have stuck.

As if we didn't love Lynch and her work enough already, it seems that going forward we are going to get an even better version of her. Plus, what better time to learn how to throw a punch than when a match with a former UFC Champion is looming? The Man's battle with Ronda Rousey is going to be a physical one, which is likely why Mr. McMahon made the request when he did.
