Movie star and WWE Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger was attacked at an event by a random fan at Arnold Classic Africa Festival in Sandton.

Considering how beloved Schwarzenegger is and how much security he probably has around him at all times, someone must have a death wish. In fact, whatever this kid was thinking, he's probably wishing he'd taken a few more minutes to make a better decision.

Mega movie star of movies like The Terminator series and WWE Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger was visiting with fans at the Arnold Classic Africa Festival in Sandton when a random fan ran across the gymnasium floor and dropkicked the star in the back. Schwarnenegger, who is still a big man in great shape for someone in his 70's, appeared to go flying into the crowd. Reports after the incident are that he wasn't actually all that phased and is fine.

There’s no report as to why the fan did so and it appears Schwarzenegger wasn’t seriously hurt.

The actor addressed the attack later on Saturday and wrote:

"Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about..."I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat."

What This Means

Schwarzenegger is a legend. That he wasn't even phased and barely knew he'd been kicked only strengthens his legendary status.

Security guards have removed the man from the venue at the Sandton Convention Centre and the director of the Arnold Partner for Africa Wayne Price and reports on the scene were that it was all dealt with immediately by the security team.

As Men's Health Magazine wrote in their report on the incident, "The whole thing seemed to be perceived as more of an inconvenience to Schwarzenegger than a genuine attack."
