Bret Hart, who recently turned down an invite to the Raw Reunion show is set to return to WWE at their biggest pay-per-view of the summer, SummerSlam.

Having written, "See you soon Toronto." on his twitter feed in the early hours of the morning on Saturday, Hart confirmed a report put out by WWE that he would be attending the Meet & Greet during SummerSlam weekend. He'll be signing autographs and taking photos on the Sunday morning of the event itself.

There is no word on whether or not Hart will be appearing on the show itself but there's a chance he might be considering the sheer number of former WWE Superstars the company seems to be bringing back for the event. Now official, Trish Stratus will be taking on Charlotte and rumored to replace The Miz versus Dolph Ziggler is Goldberg. The show being in Canada, it only makes sense to include Hart who is still considered by many to be the greatest Canadian wrestler of all time.

Hart was last seen as part of AEW's presentation of their world title championship. While WWE didn't comment on the appearance, it was likely something Vince McMahon wasn't too pleased about. Perhaps getting Hart back with the WWE in some capacity is his way of suggesting there are no hard feelings.

What This Means

The latest news on Bret had suggested otherwise. One of the few former WWE stars absent from the recent Raw Reunion, Hart said he was invited but declined because he didn't want to miss a single day of the Calgary summer. It looks like that stance has changed a touch.

Is Hart back in WWE's good books? Was he ever not in them?  What will he be doing at this year's biggest show of the summer, if anything at all?
