Sasha Banks has missed the last two episodes of Monday Night Raw, due in large part to her unhappiness about her and Bayley losing the Women's Tag Team Championships to The IIconics at WrestleMania 35.

It's been reported that Banks tried to "quit" WWE when she found out her and Bayley would drop the titles. The two believed they would endure lengthy reigns with the belts - having just won them at the February Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

Well, it seems like Banks hasn't made a final decision yet - and it could be a while until she decides. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Ringside News), WWE has granted Banks time t o think about if she wants to stay with the promotion.

"She has been given time off to figure out what she wants to do. They don’t want her to leave. I haven’t heard about her [contract] being done soon. She wasn’t on the show today and she wasn’t booked on the show today. I don’t know how much time she was given, but I don’t know if it’s that long."

Brad Shepard reported over the weekend that Banks informed WWE that she wouldn't be appearing on Raw this week. Fightful.com also reported that sources in WWE weren't expecting the company to grant her a release from her contract. Meltzer's report of WWE not wanting her to leave somewhat confirms this.

After losing the titles at WrestleMania 35, Banks began posting cryptic messages on Twitter. The Legit Boss canceled her appearance on the Wendy Williams Show. On top of that, she began unfollowing WWE and started following the rival AEW promotion.

It's clear that Banks is very frustrated with everything that has transpired in recent weeks, and it's easy to see her point of view. She was once pushed as one of the top female superstars on the Raw roster, but has taken a backseat to the likes of Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey ever since.

Just when it looked like her and Bayley would enjoy a big run with the Women's titles, they lost them on the Grandest Stage of Them All. We'll find out soon if WWE can repair the damage and convince Banks to stay.

What This Means

Despite her unhappiness with the WWE right now, it seems like Banks hasn't totally committed to leaving just yet. If she does, you can bet that AEW, NJPW and ROH will come calling quickly. If Banks thinks she can get a better opportunity outside of WWE, then it'll be an easy decision to leave.
