He's one of the newest WWE recruits and he's one of the more anticipated arrivals in the company, but Ricochet might not be keeping the name he's come to be known by to most of the WWE Universe.

WWE.com often posts videos of its new recruits and NXT Superstars as they train at the Performance Center. A new article was written which included a video of one-half of the Street Profits, Montez Ford. In that video, it appears he's taking a subtle jab at Ricochet who was also known as Prince Puma before becoming Ricochet.

Trevor Mann is Ricochet's real name and he and Montez have been feuding on social media. This appears to be just another in a line of shots directed toward the high-flyer. The WWE NXT video shows Montez doing reps of 495-pound sumo deadlifts. In it, his tag team partner (Angelo Dawkins) is motivating him by calling the weight baby weight, while Montez corrects him, calling it, “King’s weight.” He adds, “prince wouldn’t know anything about that.”

Ricochet being known as Prince Puma made this an easy connection for fans. Even WWE.com referred to Ford’s comment as, “a thinly veiled reference to one of Mann’s past monikers before joining WWE.”

Perhaps what's more interesting in the WWE pointing this out, is that it could indicate Ricochet will not be going by the name Ricochet. It could mean Prince Puma or even Trevor Mann, with some sort of reference to prince will be worked into his new character.

Fans will only know for sure what Mann's name will be when he debuts on the NXT roster. If he'll be put into a program with Ford seems unlikely, but anything is possible. How quickly Mann stays in NXT is also uncertain. One of the reasons Ford seems to be targeting Mann is because of Mann's potential to be moved to the main roster rather quickly.
