With all the news coming out of the wrestling industry, speculation is that WWE is seriously considering cleaning house of any "problematic" talents. With that in mind, there are a few names already circulating.

"Problematic" could mean a few different things. In one sense, it could mean talents who are difficult to deal with backstage. In another, it could be performers who have out-of-the-ring issues. In even another, it could be wrestlers who have publicly aired their grievances on social media, after being advised not to. So, to paint a wrestler as "problematic" could mean using an extremely broad brush.

Still, there is speculation, some coming from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful that, "WWE is serious about cleaning up their roster from what I hear, in regards to many problematic wrestlers."

A few responses to this news hint at wrestlers that may be on the outs or wrestlers who just became available, but WWE likely won't choose to work with moving forward. For example, Tessa Blanchard just become possibly the industry's biggest female free agent, but she was released (there are some reports counter to that) from Impact Wrestling because for allegedly refusing to send in promos and holding onto the belt. Between that are alleged backstage bully issues, most would define that as potentially a problem.

Sapp answered another follower who said, "So guess we will talk about this. [Velveteen] Dreams days in WWE are numbered... was told by two totally separate sources." Sapp confirmed that he too had heard of such rumors. He noted he'd heard "some not so wonderful news about him that doesn't have to do with any of the allegations."

Where Is The Trouble Line?

Already having released Jack Gallagher and with other releases on the way, how far this the "problematic" tag extend? Are we talking about stars like Matt Riddle who were accused of abuse but nothing has been proven to date? What about wrestlers choosing not to report to work during a pandemic?
