WWE Has Reportedly Made Kenny Omega A "Fantastic Offer"

Kenny Omega is rumored to be meeting with WWE officials very soon to discuss his future and has apparently been made a "fantastic offer."

We are only four days into the New Year and it has already been a massive year for wrestling news. The existence of All Elite Wrestling was officially announced on New Year's Day, 'Mean' Gene Okerlund sadly passed away, and Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho both lost their championships at Wrestle Kingdom 13.

The Cleaner battled the extremely popular Hiro Tanahashi in Wrestle Kingdom's main event and came up short. That means Tanahashi is now the IWGP Heavyweight Champion for a record-breaking eighth time. FYI, the previous record of seven reigns was also held by Tanahashi. Now that Omega is no longer champion, speculation surrounding his future will undoubtedly ramp up. Where will he end up in the coming months?

As of right now, there are a number of places Omega could go next. However, the most intriguing option right now is WWE. Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks may have turned down Vince McMahon, but apparently, Omega has not. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has made the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion a "fantastic offer." There is also talk that he has a meeting coming up with Mr. McMahon and Triple H.

WWE obviously isn't Omega's only option. Let's be honest, he's good enough that he can go wherever he pleases. There is still the very real possibility he joins up with the rest of The Elite in All Elite Wrestling. He may not have wanted to announce it on New Year's Day as that would have given away the result of his Wrestle Kingdom match.

Omega may have also simply opted to renew his contract and stay in New Japan. Whenever he talks about his future during interviews, he talks about the work he is doing to make the promotion a global brand. While he has contributed a lot towards that, his work is not yet done. On the other hand, when it comes to opponents and championships, what is there left for Omega to do in New Japan?
