WWE is asking its fans to vote for the greatest Royal Rumble competitor of all time.

Through the WWE Network Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, fans can make their votes to determine the true "Mr. Royal Rumble".

A 16-man bracket has been set up, with eight competitors on the "Greatest Winners" side and eight "Master Eliminators" on the other.

The top seven spots on the Greatest Winners  side are competitors who've won it seven times. Last year's winner, Drew McIntyre, occupied the No. 8 seed on the Greatest Winners bracket.

WWE seeded the two-time winners based on "his total number of eliminations in those victories."

The matchups on that side are "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (the only superstar to win it three times) against McIntyre, Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton, Hulk Hogan vs. Triple H and John Cena vs. Batista.

The Master Eliminators bracket consists of the top eight all time leaders in total Royal Rumble eliminations.

Kane, the all time leader with 43, is going up against Rey Mysterio in the first round. The other matchups for the Masters Eliminators side consist of The Undertaker vs. Edge, Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar and Big Show vs. Braun Strowman.

Reigns Vs McIntyre Royal Rumble

As noted above, Austin is the lone superstar to have won the Royal Rumble three times. He was victorious in the 1997, 1998 and 2001 matches. Hogan, Michaels and Batista are no longer active wrestlers, but perhaps Cena, Orton or Triple H could eventually tie Austin's record.

The 2021 Royal Rumble event will take place at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on Jan. 31.

Steve Austin Should Win

These votes could really go either way, but right now, the Texas Rattlesnake has to be considered the "favorite" to be named Mr. Royal Rumble. Not only is he arguably the most popular superstar in WWE history (which will certainly help in the voting process), but Austin is the lone three-time winner. He also has 36 Royal Rumble eliminations, which places him third all time. Add it all up, and Austin is far and away the true Mr. Royal Rumble. We'll see what the fans have to say.
