If you ever wanted to win money by guessing how many times Mauro Ranallo might say Mama Mia, or if Triple H will show up on an NXT PPV, now you can, thanks to the WWE's new partnership with online gaming and legal gambling platform Draft Kings.

NXT has a new deal with Draft Kings that will allow wrestling fans to win part of a pool of $1000. It's called the NXT Pick' Em Pool and when you create an account with Draft Kings (not eligible in all states and countries) you can make your picks based on certain questions. Included in those questions are things like who will win matches, if Damian Priest will touch Cameron Grimes' hat, or how many tags there will be in the first tag team match of the evening?

As of this writing, over 7000 people have entered to play for tomorrow night's NXT show. There is no indication as to how the $1000 will be split but the assumption is that it will go to all of the winners with the highest scores or a 100% accuracy ratio of the 11 questions asked.

This Makes Total Sense For Both Sides

While some might question the legitimacy of betting on a fixed entertainment product like WWE, this is more about the fun of the game and getting invested in the programming. With few other sports currently active and Draft Kings probably hurting badly since there is no NHL, NBA, MLB, or other betting-heavy sports to wager on, partnering with the WWE makes sense.

If it works, fans should probably expect WWE to add Raw, SmackDown and other PPV's to the platform. As of now, it looks like this is exclusive to NXT and potentially a trial run project.
