WWE is already planning its next Superstar Shakeup despite the current one still not coming to an end.
Ever since the most recent manifestation of WWE's roster split, the Superstar Shakeup after WrestleMania has become a tradition. Wrestlers switching brands in order to freshen things up ahead of the new wrestling a year. A way to make things feel different without building the brands from scratch via an entire draft.
Past Shakeups have featured big moments to get excited about. However, this year's proceedings have fallen incredibly flat. Surprising since SmackDown Live's move to Fox later this year had fans expecting big moves during this year's Shakeup. Instead, it has been extremely confusing. Superstars have gone back and forth, there is no explanation as to who is making the selections, and it is still going three weeks later.

Despite WWE not bringing down the curtain on the current Shakeup, it is apparently already planning its next one. Joe Peisich of Barnburner Radio has reported that there will be a second Shakeup of sorts later this year. "They are going to do another Superstar Shake-Up just prior to the WWE being on Fox," Peisich explained. He added that the most logical place for it to happen would be during the season premiere of Raw in September.
It has also been noted this week that after being shown footage of the NFL Draft, Vince McMahon could well use a similar system and setup rather than a Shakeup after next year's WrestleMania. That sounds like a good idea if you ask us. Not only is the NFL Draft a tried and tested way of doing things, but we would give anything not to have to sit through another month-long Shakeup.
The worst news of all is that it seems like the current Shakeup is still not over. Roman Reigns has claimed on Twitter that he will be back on Raw this Monday. However, WWE has claimed quite the contrary, replying that he can't just pick and choose which brand he performs on. What makes that even more annoying is Superstars have directly contradicted that during this Shakeup, claiming that they have moved show because they wanted to.
