A large portion of the WrestleMania 35 card still hasn't been announced, and fans may be wondering why the WWE has been slow in building up some of their matches for the big show.

Well, we have an idea why now. According to WrestleVotes, WWE has been enduring "a logistical nightmare,"when it comes to "preparation & execution" for the WrestleMania 35 event. This, of course, doesn't bode well for the New York-New Jersey regions when it comes to possibly holding a future WrestleMania.

John Cena is one of the WWE's biggest superstars, and yet they haven't revealed his WrestleMania 35 opponent. The Undertaker reportedly isn't appearing, with Brad Shepard recently saying that some in WWE were quite surprised with the news. So it sounds like WWE wasn't prepared for him to sit out WrestleMania this year, and they've seemingly been forced to plan around this late.

There have been other circumstances that may have forced WWE to plan a lot of last-minute stuff. Roman Reigns returned from his battle with leukemia sooner than expected, but WWE hasn't announced a plan for him yet. Perhaps the company fully believed he wouldn't compete, but now, they might want him to compete at the big show after all.

At the start of the year, Dean Ambrose made the decision not to re-sign with WWE, as his contract expires after WrestleMania. His choice to not stick around must have made an impact on WWE's plans for the show - plus its long-term aftermath.

And on top of that, Baron Corbin was only announced as Kurt Angle's WrestleMania opponent two weeks ago. Reports suggested afterwards that WWE would think about replacing Corbin with someone else, due to major fan backlash from the opponent of choice.

What This Means

It's obviously been a frustrating last couple of months for the WWE as they try to plan the biggest event of the year. But at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that the superstars put on a good show. WWE only has a week left to get everything organized, however, so the pressure will be on the company and its wrestlers to impress in a show loaded with hyped-up matches.
