There's no better way for WWE fans to get amped up for next month's Money in the Bank pay-per-view than to look back at how the previous cash-ins went down.

WWE.com has the fans covered, as they ranked all 19 MITB cash-ins from worst to first, which you can read here. To the surprise of nobody, Baron Corbin was ranked dead last, when he unsuccessfully challenged Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship.

Number one saw Seth Rollins shock the WWE Universe when he interrupted the Roman Reigns-Brock Lesnar main event a WrestleMania 31. The Architect ran down the ramp in Levi Stadium to cash in, and pinned Reigns to escape as the WWE Champion.

Other notable entries included Dean Ambrose winning the Money in the Bank contract two years ago, then cashing it in on the same night to defeat Rollins - who had just defeated Reigns to become the new WWE Champion.

There was also the time Dolph Ziggler cashed in on the Apr. 8, 2013 episode of Monday Night Raw - where he was able to dethrone Alberto Del Rio as the World Heavyweight Champion. And nobody can forget New Year's Revolution 2006, where Edge easily defeated a beaten and battered John Cena to become the new WWE Champion - after the latter had won a brutal Elimination Chamber match.

And after a failed amount of cash-in attempts, Carmella finally dethroned Charlotte to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion. That entry was placed ninth on WWE's list.

There was also John Cena's failed attempt in 2012, where he tried to catch CM Punk off guard to become the new champion. However, Big Show interfered, which meant Cena won the match but not the championship.

As of now, there are two MITB matches set for next month, one including male superstars and one for female talents. Certainly, the two winners will not want to join the short list of MITB winners that failed on their cash-in opportunities.
