WWE is reportedly planning an all women's pay-per-view and it will likely happen before the end of 2018.

A lot is changing in WWE right now. While some may think that interest in the company's product is dwindling, other things would beg to differ. FOX has just paid north of $1 billion for SmackDown Live and WWE is holding more and more shows in foreign countries including Saudi Arabia, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

With some of those changes has come a lot of controversy, however. The Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, for example. None of WWE's female Superstars traveled to the Middle East with the company because they weren't allowed to perform on the card. That naturally caused a bit of a stink, especially since WWE has been boasting about the women's revolution that it claims to currently be in the midst of.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE may be putting some plans in place to try and remedy that. Satin wrote on Twitter this week that "WWE is seriously considering presenting an all women’s event for main roster talent in the fall." For the first time in history, the promotion certainly has the numbers to do it, and the majority of those women are terrific wrestlers.

While Satin is of the belief that WWE is currently only discussing the possibility of an all women's show, Ticket Drew is a lot more confident that it will definitely be happening. Ticket Drew also tweeted that we should expect to see a fair few female legends at the event also. The rumor does go hand-in-hand with the news that TLC has been moved from October to December. The date now free in the fall may be when the rumored women's PPV takes place.

The controversy surrounding Greatest Royal Rumble seems to have derailed the women in WWE somewhat. At WrestleMania, the two best matches on the card featured female Superstars. Fast forward three months and there are no real gripping women's storylines. Asuka is involved in a comedy angle, Becky Lynch isn't doing much on SmackDown Live despite the crowd's adoration of her, and Ronda Rousey has been 'suspended'. If there is going to be an all-female PPV then it can't come soon enough.
