Despite rumors that WWE's sponsors do not like Firefly Fun House, the second episode of Bray Wyatt's creepy new showed aired on Raw this week.

Bray Wyatt returned to WWE television last week following an absence that was far too long for our liking. The former WWE Champion debuted an entirely new gimmick. He is now the host of an incredibly creepy children's show that has been dubbed Firefly Fun House. Think Blue's Clues but with more of a cult vibe.

As you can imagine, a mock children's show that portrays Wyatt as basically being a cult leader with a split personality reportedly didn't go down well with WWE's sponsors. Last Tuesday, after the first vignette aired, stockholders apparently voiced their displeasure to the WWE brass. Whether true or not, that same vignette aired again the following night.

Knowing WWE as we do, we wouldn't have been surprised to see Firefly Fun House disappear without ever being mentioned again after having a week to think about it. Thankfully, Vince McMahon is standing his ground. Not only did a fresh vignette air on Raw this week, but we would dare to say that WWE upped the ante. The latest episode was even creepier, felt more cultish, and featured sociopath as its word of the day.

Sponsors and shareholders are apparently afraid of Wyatt coming off like a leader of a cult intended for children. We sort of get that, and would not recommend those concerned look at Matt Hardy's Twitter timeline any time soon. Hardy's son, King Maxel appears to be one of Wyatt's first fireflies. Hardy posted a photo of his wife Reby asking Maxel what the word of the day is, to which he gleefully replies "sociopath."

It often feels like a lot of what WWE has become in recent years can be blamed on Mr. McMahon trying to please shareholders. That's why it's refreshing to see the boss pushing forward with something fans love despite apparent backlash from those behind the scenes. Not only do we hope to see this Firefly Fun House idea continue and manifest into something great, but we also hope Mr. McMahon takes this approach with more angles in WWE.
