During Monday's night's episode of Raw, Cesaro took a nasty bump to his knee during his match with Ricochet and was helped to the back.

Cesaro may have suffered an injury during an exchange with Ricochet on tonight's WWE RAW.  It's not 100% clear when the injury seems to have taken place but it could have been during the end of the six-man tag match where Cesaro took a suicide dive from Ricochet or when Ricochet landed on his knee coming off the top rope for his 630 finisher.

There is mixed news on the injury with some saying he could be out a while and Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet saying, "According to a source, Cesaro was ok when he got to the back and doesn't appear to be seriously injured."

On the previous Raw's leading up to Monday's episode, Ricochet had been battling it out with Ricochet in a series of matches. Tonight, it was The One and Only teaming with Braun Strowman and The Miz. They defeated Cesaro, Bobby Lashley and WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe.

Cesaro was then helped to the back after being checked on at ringside and plenty of fans got footage of the Swiss Superman heavily limping and needing help to not put weight on his knee. That he might be ok was either a really good sell job by Cesaro or a very lucky turn of events.

What This Means

Hopefully, Cesaro is not out of action long. He's getting a shot as a singles wrestler with Sheamus currently out of action and his matches against Ricochet have been stellar.

Any serious injury could sideline what seems to be a push by WWE. Cesaro has been greatly underappreciated for years and it's time he gets an opportunity.
