The subject of WWE Superstars' employment status with the company as independent contractors has been the subject of much debate this year, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic and amidst WWE releasing several of its wrestlers.

It's also worth noting that even though WWE Superstars do take home large salaries making the company an attractive prospect to many people who want to improve their quality of life or provide for their family, that they are also responsible for paying most of their work expenses, for example, travel and accommodation, as well as providing their own health insurance etc.

But, how much is Vince McMahon's company forking out for its wrestlers? Well, it certainly depends on the individual wrestlers with some of the bigger names taking home millions whereas some of the smaller names ... don't. We can take a look at the leaked list of WWE salaries below, courtesy of the Mirror.

To no-one's surprise, Brock Lesnar tops the list for highest earners netting an alleged whopping $12 million dollar salary from WWE, the Mirror report also suggests that 'The Beast Incarnate' receives an additional $500,000 per every main-event appearance.

Other expected names like John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and AJ Styles topped the list of Superstars getting over $1 million in salary, but interesting only two women are making that much a year - Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.

The bottom NINETEEN Superstars on this list make up most of WWE's female division, which again, whilst not surprising, is certainly a damning verdict on how much star power the WWE feel their women have, especially when the recent Bayley Vs Sasha Banks SmackDown title match was their most-watched segment since March this year.
