Just days after former WWE superstar Dean Ambrose debuted in AEW with the new ring name of Jon Moxley, he appeared on the Talk Is Jericho podcast and ripped into his former company.

In the interview, Moxley took aim at WWE chairman Vince McMahon and criticized his former boss, calling him "the problem," while suggesting he should also "listen to someone else's ideas." And finally, Moxley said his "goal with AEW" is to "prove Vince's way sucks."

WWE superstars obviously have to remain silent on any complaints or criticism they'll have against the company and chairman. But according to WrestleVotes, WWE talents actually agree with Moxley's rant against the company, with one person saying "it's a mess that won't be "changing any time soon."

Things are quite messy in WWE right now. Losing one of its top stars to a legitimate business rival hurts Vince's company big time. Other superstars like The Revival and Luke Harper asked to be released, but WWE refused to grant them.

Sasha Banks was frustrated about having to lose at WrestleMania 35 to The IIconics, and she hasn't appeared on television ever since - leading to rumors that she wants out and that AEW could pursue her. She's remained silent on her situation with WWE, however, so it remains to be seen how things will play out.

Vince has also moved on from a handful of WWE writers here in 2019, and television ratings have dropped significantly in recent months - which comes at a horrible time as Fox prepares to take over SmackDown Live broadcasts in October. And now, WWE has to deal with a ton of frustrated superstars who aren't happy with their place in the company. If Vince hears about Moxley's rant, he might want to listen hard and try to make the much-needed changes to his product.

What This Means

It's quite concerning for WWE in that Moxley wasted no time shedding late on the toxic environment inside the company. Not only that, but other superstars agree on what he's saying, and WWE has a difficult task in trying to repair some of the damage - all while worrying about AEW growing as a serious rival here in 2019.
