Every time Zack Ryder feels down about how he is or isn't being used in WWE, he reminds himself how much worse life can be.

WWE might be the biggest company in the professional wrestling industry by some way but like anything that gains popularity as Vince McMahon's company has, that popularity comes with an almost equal amount of critics. Some of that critique is warranted and some of it isn't, however, any WWE fan will likely admit that the product can be frustrating from time to time.

What bothers fans most is their favorite Superstars not being used correctly, at least in their eyes. What those fans need to remember is that there are only a limited amount of spots on the roster, even fewer on TV every week, and a mere handful at the very top of the pile. WWE currently has more talent than ever before, so some stars aren't going to be featured as frequently as select fans might like.

RUMOR: WWE IS CLOSE TO SIGNING PENTAGON JR AND FENIX

One current WWE Superstar who knows all about that is Zack Ryder. Ryder signed a developmental contract with WWE all the way back in 2006, and his big moments have been few and far between over the course of those 12 years. The former United States Champion recently appeared on Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast and vented about not being used in WWE.

"What am I going to do, sit around and be bitter? I hate when people do that. Like, poor me. Come on, we’re here in WWE," Ryder told Garcia. "Trust me, there have been times where I have been bitter, but what does it solve? Nothing," he went on to say, pointing out that you can buy Zack Ryder action figures right now if you so choose, so how bad can his life really be?

What fans don't realize is that there are likely a lot of men and women backstage in WWE that we don't see very often but are happy with their lot in life. It doesn't mean they don't want more and that they aren't trying to work their way up the ladder, but it also doesn't mean they aren't happy in WWE. Some are simply happy being WWE Superstars while those who aren't will leave and look elsewhere for opportunities, like Cody Rhodes and Austin Aries.
