Former WWE superstar Nia Jax recently discussed her future as it pertains to wrestling.

Jax, who now goes by her real name, Lina Fanene, was released by said promotion last November. Shortly after, she declared that she was done with wrestling for good. However, she was announced for the Wrestling Entertainment series before pulling out. The show was eventually canceled, and she was accused of taking the money yet reneging on her commitment.

Fanene was interviewed on the Wives of Wrestling podcast and, while she didn’t rule out a return to the ring, said she doesn’t see herself going back to being a full-time wrestler.

Nia Jax angry

“I always said I would never wrestle again,” she was quoted as saying by WrestleTalk.com. I don’t know if I’d ever, I don’t think I’d go back to full-time wrestling because it was, it’s crazy because now they have it different, but it just took a lot.

“It took a toll on me, but I wouldn’t mind going back and doing like a fun little story and, you know, putting somebody over whatever it like, something like that.

“I think, you know, I gave a good amount of time and now I’m like, I prefer to just god willing get married and have kids, you know.”
