NXT has revived quite a few WCW PPVs, but Halloween Havoc might well be the biggest. NXT's version of the show will be even bigger this year as it has been moved from a themed edition of its weekly show and been given premium live event status. 2022's Halloween Havoc will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2022, rather than a week later to bring it closer to Halloween. The show will start at 8 pm EST, probably with a kickoff show 30 to 60 minutes before, and fans in the US will be able to watch live on Peacock. Everyone else will be able to watch along on the WWE Network.

A Weapons Wild and an Ambulance Match were added to the card during the October 4, 2022 edition of NXT.
Bron Breakker vs. JD McDonagh vs. Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship
Bron Breakker has fought off all-comers for the NXT Title, even uniting it with the NXT UK Championship along the way. The trouble is, Ilja Dragunov relinquished the now-defunct title without actually losing a match. That's why now he's back, he quite rightly wants a chance to win the unified title.
Dragunov arrived to claim that title shot at just the wrong time, right after JD McDonagh earned his own shot at the title. That's why this match will be a triple threat, and the two ex-NXT UK stars getting in each other's way will likely mean Breakker retains.
Five-Way Ladder Match for the NXT North American Championship
Solo Sikoa brought Carmelo Hayes' North American Title run to an end, only to be stripped of the championship a week later. What was that all about? That means the title is now vacant, and at Halloween Havoc, five Superstars will compete in a ladder match to be crowned the new champion.
Carmelo Hayes earned automatic entry due to the nature of his title loss, but it seems unlikely he'll be winning the title back. Of the wrestlers who have qualified so far, Wes Lee seems the most likely candidate to win. Help the fans forget MSK, plus he won the fan vote to get a title shot a few weeks ago, proving he's popular.
Mandy Rose vs. Alba Fyre for the NXT Women's Championship
Who imagined Mandy Rose would reinvent herself in NXT to the point that she has been Women's Champion for well over 300 days? Rose has seen off all-comers for the gold, and at Halloween Havoc, Alba Fyre will get her first crack at trying to dethrone Toxic Attraction's leader.
By the time Halloween Havoc arrives, Rose will be just a week away from having been champion for an entire year. Fyre stopping that from happening would be quite the accomplishment and that seems pretty likely all things considered.
Roxanne Perez vs. Cora Jade in a Weapons Wild Match
The rivalry between Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade has been bubbling away in NXT for months, even while the pair has been occupied with other opponents. Halloween Havoc may well be the last time we see them clash for a while. Grayson Waller did the honors and spun the wheel, resulting in this one becoming a Weapons Wild match.
What that might be is anyone's guess. Probably one of the many names WWE uses to describe a match where opponents are free to hit one another with weapons. As for a winner, it still feels like Jade is the one the company will be hitching its wagon too. Jade to win and potentially move on to a title shot at the next big NXT event.
Julius Creed vs. Damon Kemp in an Ambulance Match
Speaking of rivalries that have been bubbling away for a while, Diamond Mine's gradual and increasingly volatile split will hit an important milestone at Halloween Havoc. Not only will one of these men leave in an ambulance, but if Damon Kemp wins then Julius Creed's brother Brutus must leave NXT.
The stakes are high in this one, and it feels like Creed winning would result in this match feeling a little flat. That seems to be the most likely outcome though, as splitting the Creeds really doesn't make much sense.
Apollo Crews vs. Grayson Waller in a Spin the Wheel, Make A Deal Match
Grayson Waller probably didn't think raking Apollo Crews's eyes would still be affecting him two months later. The two will finally have a rematch at Halloween Havoc, and the wheel will decide the match type. Check it now to see if there's anything on there that focuses on one man needing to blind the other to win the match.
It feels like Waller is gearing up for a main roster call-up, perhaps so that he can be a part of Bray Wyatt's potential new group. If that's the plan, expect him to lose this one on his way out of NXT.
