While fans don't actively think about it too often, the difficulty of making an NBA roster is a massive challenge. There are 15 players on every roster, and of those players, only a few of them will get any sort of significant playing time. Only a few of those select players will get any praise or awards from the basketball community as well.

Now, with how unlikely that is, imagine that there are two players who are brothers who find massive success. Luckily for fans, they don't have to imagine, as there have been some incredible siblings throughout NBA history. However, some family members are better on the court than others.

The Curry family is basically basketball royalty at this point. Dell Curry had a great career of his own, but his legacy has been overtaken by that of his sons, Stephen and Seth. Both brothers are among the greatest shooters in the league today.

However, when it comes to who's better, it's no contest. Stephen Curry is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and one of the greatest point guards ever, so he gets the nod.

Goran Dragic and Zoran Dragic are one of the pair of brothers in NBA history who were lucky enough to play on the same team. They spent time together on the Miami Heat in 2015, where the point guard was one of the main stars on the team.

While Zoran has had notable stints in the NBA, and a solid career of his own, Goran was far better the player. A former All-Star and All-NBA selection, he's still a capable starter today in his late 30s.

8 The Griffin Brothers: Blake

Yes, Blake Griffin had a brother. Yes, he also played in the NBA, and even played at the same college, Oklahoma. Taylor Griffin was a second-round draft pick for the Phoenix Suns and ultimately bounced around the league from 2009 to 2015. During that time, his best career accomplishment was being a D-League champion in his final year.

No disrespect to him, but Blake Griffin was far the superior brother in the league. A multiple-time All-Star and All-NBA selection, he's currently attempting to win his first ring with the Boston Celtics.

7 The Ball Brothers: LaMelo

The Ball Family is known just as much for their success on the court, as they are off the court. Their father, LaVar, raised three brothers with the goal of making the NBA. Today, all three of them are in the league, albeit, in many different places.

LaMelo is by far the best brother and emerging as one of the future stars of the league. For his part, Lonzo is also a solid role player and defensive tool. Lastly, LiAngelo has bounced around the G-League since 2018.

6 The Morris Brothers: Marcus

Marcus and Markieff Morris have never emerged as All-Stars or anything like that, but they've both had success for over a decade in the NBA. Both brothers have had very similar careers, including getting drafted one after the other in 2011.

While both brothers have had solid careers, Marcus was the better player at his peak. For what it's worth, though, Markieff is the one that has an NBA ring, earning it from his 2020 stint with the Los Angeles Lakers in the bubble.

5 The Thompson Brothers: Klay

The Golden State Warriors dynasty features multiple All-Stars, including Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. While the two shooters have a lot in common, they're also both the best player in their family.

While many might not know it, Klay has a brother, Mychel, who played in the NBA. While he had a decent run, it's nothing compared to the Warriors star, who is a four-time champion and future Hall of Famer.

4 The Lopez Brothers: Brook

Brook and Robin Lopez are some of the more likable brothers in recent memory to play in the NBA. Both centers, they're defensive forces who have had great careers. While they've had a similar run for most of that time, Brook has recently elevated to a new level.

The Milwaukee Bucks big man is currently in the running for the Defensive Player of the Year award. While he's already had a better career than Robin otherwise, winning the award would put Brook as the clear better player.

3 The Wilkins Brothers: Dominique

However, Dominique was clearly the better player in the NBA. A former All-Star and All-NBA selection, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006 and was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team last year.

2 The Antetokounmpo Brothers: Giannis

The Antetokounmpo brothers currently dominate the league in regard to having all of their family in the league. The four brothers, Giannis, Thanasis, Alex, and Kostas, all play in the NBA. However, they're all in very different places.

Giannis is clearly the best brother of the group and is arguably the greatest player in the league today. To their credit, Kostas and Thansis have had some success of their own, as they've each won championships. The latter won his ring as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, which Giannis leads.

1 The Gasol Brothers: Pau

The Gasol brothers might be the most high-level siblings to ever play in the NBA. Both Pau and Marc were famous All-Stars who won championships in the league and were cornerstones of a franchise for years at a time.

While it's hard to argue that one is better than the other, Pau would get the nod. At his peak, he was one of the greatest players in the league, and his alliance with Kobe Bryant was incredible. The duo helped win the Los Angeles Lakers two championships in 2009, and 2010.
