Brock Lesnar has been playing mind games with The Bloodline, causing them to distrust their Wiseman, Paul Heyman. But maybe Brock is right, and Heyman is once again in cahoots with The Beast Incarnate. After all, Heyman's character does have a seedy past and it's not known for being honest.

Having Heyman turn on Reigns would be a great way of getting the title off of Roman without him looking weak. And this wouldn't be the first time that Heyman would cost his client a major title. Ironically, Lesnar was the client who felt Heyman's wrath almost 20 years ago.

At Crown Jewel 2021, Reigns will put his Universal Title on the line against Lesnar. This may or may not be the right time for the Wiseman to strike back against The Tribal Chief. If the big betrayal doesn't go down in Saudi Arabia, there's always a chance that it could happen sometime in the coming months, especially considering that the Lesnar and Reigns feud is rumored to be long-term. Heyman may think it wiser to wait until the Royal Rumble pay-per-view to pull off this doublecross.

Paul Heyman May Have Already Revealed His Plans

Roman Reigns 2021 Cropped

On last week's episode of SmackDown, Reigns told Heyman to be honest and to take credit for Lesnar becoming a free agent. Paul then cut a very eloquent promo claiming Lesnar to be a liar, but he also mentions something that Reigns hasn't talked about. Heyman responded as if Roman asked him whether or not he's conspiring to cost The Tribal Chief the title. Reigns did not accuse Heyman of this.

Heyman then used his promo to hype up his Tribal Chief, flattering the Universal Champion. Paul told the camera that Lesnar had met his match with Roman Reigns. However, if this is all just manipulation and a ruse by Heyman, it wouldn't be the first time he's lied to his client and the public before a major title match.

Heyman Lied To Brock Lesnar At Survivor Series 2002 & Cost Him The WWE Title

Big Show Vs Brock Lesnar

Right before Brock Lesnar's match at Survivor Series 2002, he promised The Next Big Thing that he'd do everything in his power to make sure that his client remains champion. However, this was the opposite of how Lesnar vs Big Show went down. Brock had Big Show beat, but Heyman pulled the referee out of the ring and took him out with a punch. Lesnar was enraged and chased Heyman outside the ring, but this would allow Big Show to recover and take Lesnar out. Heyman threw the referee back in the ring after Show hit Lesnar with a Chokeslam onto a steel chair.

Lesnar's undefeated streak came to an end because of Heyman screwing him over. What's stopping Paul from doing the same thing to The Tribal Chief's second reign as Universal Champion?

Roman Reigns Doesn't Need Paul Heyman, But Brock Lesnar Does

Brock Lesnar just doesn't feel complete without Paul Heyman by his side. Roman Reigns has certainly benefited from Heyman's association, but The Tribal Chief has grown enough on the microphone that he doesn't need anyone to do the talking for him. Since his comeback last year, Reigns has shined as a villain on the blue brand.

Brock, on the other hand, could use a mouthpiece. Lesnar is known for keeping his words short and sweet while letting his actions do most of the talking. And with Reigns being a verbally abusive Tribal Chief to Heyman, we may see the classic pairing of Lesnar and Heyman reunite in short order.

Reigns Can Invite A Blood Relative To Take Heyman's Place

Rikishi hits the stink face in WWE.

Even though Reigns doesn't need a mouthpiece, it wouldn't hurt to increase membership for The Bloodline on SmackDown. If Heyman intentionally costs Reigns the Universal Title and is therefore banished from The Bloodline, there is a blood relative of Reigns and The Usos who could take his place.

Rikishi, the father of The Usos and cousin of Reigns, would be a good fit for the top villainous stable of the blue brand. He could take Heyman's role as a manager and hypeman of The Tribal Chief. He'd also have the opportunity to manage his sons, the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. And adding him to the group would make perfect sense when it comes to the theme of The Bloodline, which revolves around the Anoa'i Dynasty.

Heyman Should Strike First

Roman Reigns instructed The Usos to leave Paul Heyman for dead if they weren't drafted to SmackDown. The Usos were able to stay on the blue brand and Heyman credited his influence for this outcome. Despite what he's done to prove his loyalty, Heyman still finds himself in dangerous waters with The Bloodline. Considering that Reigns has developed a threatening demeanor towards Heyman, maybe it'd be smart for the Wiseman to strike first.

Paul Heyman doesn't have to tolerate the emotional abuse dished out by The Tribal Chief. The Wiseman could easily transition back into a working relationship with The Beast Incarnate. And screwing over Reigns might be in Heyman's best interests. Lesnar has been violent to Heyman in the past, but Reigns appears to be a more imminent threat.

Heyman might not screw over Reigns at Crown Jewel, but it'd make sense if it happened. And if it doesn't happen at that pay-per-view, it could always happen during a rematch for the Universal Title. Reigns has held the championship for over 400 days, only time will tell if the Wiseman leads to his downfall.
